Liquor Procedures
1. Liquor packages may be purchased 18 months in advance of the desired rental date and at least four weeks prior to the rental date. All contracts must be signed by an adult at least 21 years of age who will be in attendance during rental.
Hoosier Grove Barn seats up to 100 guests on the main level. The upper hayloft area, featuring state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, seats up to 25 people.
2. The Village of Streamwood has issued a liquor license to the Streamwood Park District for the Hoosier Grove Barn. All alcohol must be purchased and consumed on premises. No one other than Hoosier Grove Barn staff may serve or bring alcohol into any Streamwood Park District facility and/or park. The sale of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited. Only those 21 years of age or older may purchase or consume, or serve alcoholic beverages.
3. All Streamwood Park District, Village of Streamwood, and State of Illinois laws and ordinances must strictly be adhered to, including, but not limited to; No smoking. illegal substances or gambling (bingo, raffles, card, etc.). The Hoosier Grove barn is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building at any time.
There is a designated outdoor smoking area; please ask guests to use the designated smoking area.
4. Outside serving and consuming of alcoholic beverages will be permitted only during rental hours and in close proximity to Hoosier Grove Barn,with specific location approved by Hoosier Grove staff member.
5. This aggreement is made in conjunction with the Facility Rental Agreement and the renter agrees to follow all stipulations in both agreements.
6. The Streamwood Park District staff has the right to refuse alcoholic service to the renter and/or guests of the renter at any time.
7. Individual accident and health insurance is not provided by the Streamwood Park District. Optional Special Event Insurance is available. Please ask for details.
8. No beverages may be carried in with a bar (i.e. pop, punch, juice boxes, etc.).
9. The Streamwood Park District staff reserves the right to act in the best interest of the Park District with regard to items not specifically addressed in the above rules and regulations.
I have read and agree to abide by all policies as listed on this form. Non-compliance with any of these policies may result in the los of security deposit and/ior early closure of the event, and possible loss of future rental privileges.
